Brightland
If you’re in need of a new staple to add to your pantry, you’re in luck. Brightland—a quality-focused, women-founded brand—released their latest extra virgin olive oil, named CASTELVETRANO. All of its other products have been made in California, but this marks the first of its kind for the company, as it’s created in Italy.
Brightland prioritizes working with family farms and local producers to make all of their staple cooking items. From honeys to jams to olive oils, it's a one-stop shop for artisan condiments. So it's no surprise that the launch of CASTELVETRANO is highly anticipated among passionate home chefs and dedicated Brightland fans. Created by a family Italian producer, it represents the brand's dedication to quality products.
As the name indicates, CASTELVETRANO is made with green castelvetrano olives, which gives it a light, buttery flavor. Harvested in fall 2023, the olives come straight from the mountains of Sicily to create a fresh, smooth olive oil you can only really find in the Mediterranean. They were also purposely harvested early, giving them a brighter, more earthy taste.

On a webpage featuring details of the product, Brightland recommends pairing CASTELVETRANO with «focaccia, cheese, charcuterie, pasta and picnic-y bites» (although you can definitely use or
