When the seasons change outside, it's natural to feel inspired to change your space inside too. Your life is different when the snow stops falling and the sun starts shining a bit brighter: Maybe you no longer need such a thick duvet or those flannel sheets; perhaps your soup pot gets a bit less use; or maybe you just need to update the colors inside your home to match the vibrancy of the outdoors.
In a timely fashion, IKEA just dropped a tool that aims to redefine the way we decorate for spring—or at least the ease with which we do it.
The furniture retailer launched The Edit, a follow-up to its recently-debuted IKEA Style Guide, and its first edition—Swedish Roots—is all about bringing the spring season indoors through natural tones, blonde woods, primary colors, and outdoorsy greens. As always, you want to keep your space clutter-free (especially in the spirit of spring cleaning) while also adding in some fun, style, brightness, and accent colors to make the trek from inside to outside seamless.
“Think of your home as a seasonal reflection of who you are,” Abbey Stark, an interior design leader at IKEA, said in a blog post. “Spring is a time for rejuvenation and renewal, so try something new. Don't be afraid to take risks, like welcoming textiles in bolder patterns and brighter colors than usual.”

Swedish Roots intends to provide what you need for your outdoor space now that you have the time and ability to host, entertain, and (most importantly) lounge.
