Yelp just released its list of Top 100 Places to Eat in 2024, and it’s feeding us (literally) with recommendations for noodles, tacos, soups, pizzas, pasta, burritos, bowls, ice creams, and so much more—from all over the country.
“This year, our huge, food-loving community reviewed and rated their faves from coast to coast, so you can find lots of new restaurants to love, whether you’re at home or on the road,” Yelp said in a press release. “There’s a place for every taste in 2024—and we’ve got 100 to choose from!”
The data science team at Yelp analyzed user submissions to thousands of top restaurants by ratings, number of reviews, and volume of submissions. They also got a bit of help from Yelp’s community managers to narrow it down to the final list: It's full of ramen shops, plant-based Latin food, and Korean fusion. Just three states accounted for 30% of this year’s rankings, with Arizona, Florida, and Texas providing their residents with the best restaurants in the country.

James Beard Award-semifinalist Wendy Garcia is the owner and chef at the #1 restaurant: Tumerico, a vegetarian Mexican spot in Tucson, Arizona. Along with this year's accolade, its five-star reviews and loyal customers also earned it the #1 place on Yelp’s Top Southwest Restaurants list in 2023. Her other Tucson restaurant, La Chaiteria, landed at #68 on the list.
