Just when you thought all things Barbie were in the rearview mirror of your pink convertible, Barbiecue sauce from Heinz has arrived in the UK. And just as suddenly as the bright vegan-mayo, barbecue, and beetroot condiment appeared, Brits snatched up every single last one of the 5,000 bottles that were available, proving Barbiecore fandom hasn’t gone away just yet.
@Heinz_UK announced the saucy surprise on its Instagram on April 15. “Prepare for your world to turn deliciously pink…” it teased, and the commenters were as intrigued as you'd imagine.
“The marketing team was beheinz schedule, but they managed to ketchup,” one user quipped.
“Don’t even like BBQ but I’ll be buying for the aesthetic,” another wrote.
And it’s true: A bottle of this pink stuff, complete with the iconic Barbie ponytailed silhouette, would make an adorable addition to any kitschen (and we meant to say that). Even Barbara Corcoran of Shark Tank fame played along.
“Barbiecue! That’s what people call Mark Cuban and me!” she posted.

The news about Barbiecue sauce didn't come as a total surprise. @Heinz_UK shared a sneak peek of the condiment last year, paired with (what else) a bottle of tomato Kenchup. Heinz suggests using it to flavor a burger or add it to a salad. If you're open to experimenting with the pink sauce, you could also try it on grilled chicken or marinate a steak for a colorful summer meal.
