If you've ever scrolled through an influencer's social media for food or home inspiration and thought, “Wow, I wish my kitchen looked like that," you definitely aren’t alone—and Anthropologie is here to help you make your wishes come true.
The retailer launched a collaborative collection called Turkuaz Kitchen with recipe developer, food photographer, and social media sensation Betül Tunç (@turkuazkitchen), who has 1.4 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, 1.4 million followers on TikTok, and a whopping 9.6 million followers on Instagram. Collectively, she has nearly 16 million followers. It’s not a mystery as to why: Her aesthetic is bright, cozy, and inviting, and her food is absolutely breathtaking.
Most of the recipes Tunç shows on her social media are made from scratch and set to jazz or classical music. Her comment section on any given post is full of heart-eye emojis, compliments, and comments that echo this one: “I know you are a cooking page, but the amount of joy I get from seeing these videos is incomprehensible. I really appreciate you for that.”
Anthropologie took notice, and the two teamed up to create a 25-piece collection with dishware, cooking, and baking tools that draw inspiration from Tunç's Turkish roots by featuring traditional Iznik patterns.
