So, without further ado, here are our top recommendations for gardens in Manchester. Mayfield Park Starting off our list is Mayfield Park — one of Manchester's newest inner-city parks. This new development is both child and dog-friendly, and it is a must-visit for all. Located opposite Manchester Piccadilly Train Station, this easy-to-access park gives the city the green space that we've been hoping for. Whether you're looking to go for a stroll, a dog walk, or a day out with the kids, this park has it all! Castlefield Viaduct Another new venture for the city centre is the Castlefield Viaduct. This park is small but mighty and has something to see all year round. Foliage, flowers, water features — it has it all. Similar in design to New York's High Line, this suspended sky garden can be found metres away from the Castlefield tram stop. If you're spending the day in Manchester and fancy a quick pit stop to see some history and greenery in one fell swoop, then Castlefield Viaduct should definitely be on your list.
